    Hello ,Im new here.This is my very first picture of Merops apiaster made in Bulgaria.Equipment - EOS 300D ,Sigma 105 2,8 Makro lens.The light is no excellent but the moment .....

    A good behavioural shot. The thing I like is that it tells us a story. Good work. Next time perhaps better light.

    105 mm, that is really close!!!! If you don't have a long lens, that is really good work!!!!

    A longer lens may give you a more blurred back ground.

    Before 3 years I havent long lens and use this Sigma.This shot is from 1,5 meters.Now I have 300mm lens.

    the light is a little harsh but otherwise an excellent shot with great behavior. amazing that you got so close to get this shot with just 105mm.

    Very nice moment captured. The interaction is really great and it's even more great that you achieved this with such a short focal length!

    If the light is harsh, I think its been dealt with superbly in this shot. The eye contact between the birds and even the positioning of the dragonfly is excellent. A wonderful first image to post. You certainly know how to use that equipment :)

    Great timing and capture of the interaction. Harsh light has been mentioned and I would add some canvas at the left. Keep them coming!
