    This Oriole is one of a pair taken in early spring so it is not a juvy.

    Wonderful! I had a male at my feeders this year but never did get to see the female. I'd run a little NR on the BG or try to blur it just a bit more to cut down on the noise in the dark pockets. You got the eye nice and sharp but the beak appears to be a bit soft. The colors are incredible and I love the pose!

    Certainly a treat to see a female for a change as they are also very attractive. The bird looks sharp but I'm wondering if the point of focus was more on the side rather than the head. What you really needed was a nice head turn......sometimes a little sound can get them to look your way long enough to get the head turn.

    Another nice close up but she is looking away from you..... More eye contact!!
