Collared Incas appear black and white, but when lit with flashes you are able to see the dark green in the plumage. When these large, spectacular hummingbirds come to your hummingbird set-up it is necessary to quickly change to a smaller aperture to avoid burning the bright white areas on the bird.

Wonderful wing postion and pose and great exposure control. When they came onto the set everybody panicked! Could use a bit more room above the bird and even less on the right.

    Hi Linda,

Lovely with a different perspective. You are very talented. I would like to see more room all around but that's about it for me.

We need to hang out one of these day!!

    Take care!

Beautiful bird and technically well done. I like the pose, details and BG. Maybe a bit more room at the top.

    Hi Linda,
Agree with the more room........but I love the detail you brought out in the blacks. The subtle green really comes through.
