Ever since the rainy season i have wanted a shot something like this, showing the expanse of water of the Everglades. You have to find a place where the rushes are growing and not sawgrass, as the sawgrass grows too thick and tall to show the water. This isn't exactly the shot I wanted, but we are getting there.

    Thanks for looking,
    Paul

    Hey Paul,
You are definitely getting some dramatic skies. I like the flare and placement of the sun. Agree that a bit more water would add to the image....... but not sure people can really appreciate the difficulty in what you are trying to attempt. I sure can! This is still very nicely done and i look forward to your next submissions and just want to aknowledge all the hard work!

Well Paul I think you are doing well chasing that ultimate image. Nice work here both compositionally and technically. Lots of subtle tonal detail in the clouds really makes this stand out.

    Excellent image and composition Paul.
I like the sky and clouds. The colors are fantastic; very appealing and the star burst stopping down to f/22 really puts it over the top...big congrats...

Thanks everyone. Went out the other night and the sky was completely empty. I haven't seen a summer day like that yet. I couldn't believe it. Must have been something to do with these storms. Mosquitoes seem to be calming down though. I actually could concentrate on what i was doing. =)
