    Default Hard to swallow

Photographed on Long Island. I find it quite surprising how they can eat fish this long.

Great behavior shot. One would almost expect the fish to eat the bird! Have you tried it without so much of the plant?

It is hard to believe they can consume a fish this long! Besides the great behavior, I like your careful composition in this image. You made sure to include the entire shadow of the bird, and the green plant not only balances the subject, but adds nice color.

Good job with the sidelight with the bird at the perfect angle. What folks are not realizing is that the fish is for a chick!

excellent image axel, I would crop most of the plant on the right, I think it competes with the subject too much.

    Hi Axel,
I'm fine with the greenery on the right......balances the image well for me. That fish is a great bonus..........it does make you chuckle when I think of the chicks trying to swallowv them.
