    A juvenile plumaged bird, taken at a roadside pond, from the car, resting the lens on the window frame. I decided to leave the grass in the foreground in.

    D300, Tamron 200-500, ISO 320, 1/320, f8.0.

    Hi Richard Remember the virtual legs !!!

    You did well with the exposure and pose but it tight in frame. Would also back down the sharpening just a bit.

    I like the light and eye contact and agree with Al regarding more room and less sharpening.

    A little more at the bottom, and agree it is a bit too crisp. Lovely colors and light.

    Nice light on this cute juvenile GBH. Either going in tighter for more of a portrait, or zmore and iooming out more and ncluding the virtual legs would have been a better composition, but you were probably somewhat limited shooting from your car window!

    Agree on the sharpening issue and more room at the bottom for the legs...:cool:
