    Default Sparrow Paradise

This little guy actually chirped at me to take his picture, so I complied!

Shot with Canon MIII, 500 f4, 1/1600, ISO 800, f5.6, manual exp, bushhawk.

    Thanks for looking.

I like this but had you used One-Shot AF and pointed the camera left and up you would have had a real winner... The crop cleans up all of the problems.

With some good QM work you could eliminate the white o-o-f reed right behind the bird's head.

Lovely image and those background colors are wonderful. I would prefer a horizontal crop elliminating the top 1/4th of the photo but that's me.

I really like Arthur's repost, big improvement on the comp. With both images I really like the BG colors, I even like the OOF reeds for some reason.

I would sharpen the face very slightly.

I like Arties comp without any crop. I am not a big fan of square crops.

Bill, do you know if this is a Savannah Sparrow?

The repost is the perfect crop for this image. The pose is nice, but the beautiful BG really makes this image. Wonderful color and form. Well done,.
