    A wild stallion prancing along a ridgtop just as the sun is going behind the mountains at sunset. This stallion is young and doesn't have a band of his own though as powerful as he looks perhaps in time he will. He was lame last year but looks great this year..

    Canon 1d3, EF 500mmF4IS, ISO 400, 1/2500 @ F4, +2/3 exp comp on evaluative....

    Lovely. I like the light and the pose and composition. I want to know if 1/2500 was absolutely necessary or a slower shutter speed could have been used? I love your stallions.

    He is majestic and proud, you have him positioned with great lighting and pose.

    Last year he had a severe limp, one of his front legs was pretty sore. No signs of it this year:)

    Very good image. Low angle with a bit of OOF-grass in the front that makes a good sneaking-feeling and the horse reminds me very much about strength and freedom...

    Very impressive looking especially at the head and mane which shows he is in motion. THe light is fantastic.

    Great pose (love the mane) and beautiful light. The lifted front hoof is a nice touch as well. Great image.
