Tucan - Central Florida

This lovely Tucan is captive but he can freely fly within their limits from tree to tree at about 60 feet tall. I was lucky to be there at the right time and to eye level to capture few images. The BG is not ideal but represents the busy forest they live in.

I remember when I was in the Amazon, these guys were everywhere and in low light. This Tucan is basically in a "similar" habitat as the amazon. Not an easy capture but if you have IS or VR, I guess you should be OK :)

Hey Maxis,

Great photo of an amazing bird, and the fill flash looks great. I might be tempted to clean up the eye a little, removing some of the catchlights.

Don't mind the BG here Maxis. Love everything here, you did a really excellent job making this one pop and getting out all of that beautiful detail! The colours are gorgeous. Very very nice!
