    I was inspired by a photograph of Arthur Morris lying in mud, and followed this bird on my stomach for hundreds of yards while he hopped out of the way of incoming waves - this is the image that I liked best of the sequence and would appreciate any comments

    I like the "tippy-toe" look of this one. The whites look a little hot.

    I like the idea, angle and ballet pose. :) I would give him a bit more room at the top, clone out the dark band in the upper right and apply some S/H. The bird looks a bit soft on my monitor. I hope a little more sharpening will improve this.

    It is definitely fun, but I sure prefer sand to mud! I'll try mud next time...

    Great catching the bird hopping on one foot. Whites are hot and it does look a tad soft
