I was tinkering around Pops garden last week and found this lovely lady by the name of Jackie; all dressed up and with no place to go. I convinced her to come in my studio for a photo shoot, and this is what we came up with...:)
Lady Jackie was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D macro lens, and a 12mm extension tube.
Image solution: focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / metering mode - combination of in camera matrix, and hand held spot meter measuring three anchor points for balanced lighting. / ISO @ 100 / 1/40 - f/22 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - three speedlights on manual mode, powered down to 1/3 lumin burst with defusers attached and bounced off of two 24" gold reflector disks; one angled at 45 degrees and the secound one at 90 degrees. The third speedlight was positioned behind the yellow back drop, angled at 90 degrees; a soft box was used from the top at 180 degrees to balance the shadows / exposure comp @ - 2.3EV / tone comp @ +2 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / support platform - tripod assist / cable trigger release /
Comments greatly appreciated...

Hi Gus, I like the shaft of bright light flowing down and the translucent look of the veins on the underside but I wish the petal were less gray and it might need some noise reduction? You always come up with interesting and original images, thanks for posting.
i like how the lighter reflection is spotlighting the stamen? very cool......i'm betting a pink or purple bg would be cool too. that's a sweet looking flower. does pop use miracle gro?!!!!!
