    Default Snowy Owl lift off

I waited about 1 hour, standing in the snow in frezzing temps (10 F) for this bird to decide on its next hunting location. It was perched on top of a chimeny, so as the sun was going down I knew the opportunity was fading. When the bird turned away from me and looked down light I was getting nervous!! But eventually it turned back and gave me a show.

This past winter was good to me for owls, and I really looks forward to the cold weather once again!
