    I took this today while looking for the elusive mushrooms.

    Canon 20D, 100mm lens @ 100mm, 1/13/sec @6.3, ISO 400 +1.0 EV. Tripod. Jules' radial blur plus paint daub filter.

    Ooops, actually, this is an aster, not an aspen!

    Joanna, this is magnificent! I'd like to see it also with a horizontal orientation,, cropping to inches off the bottom :)

    Love the way the yellow center petals flame up around the periwinkle. This is really cool!

    Rocking! I like them both. The repost is stronger compositionally, but in the first post, if you stare at it, it looks as if the petals are moving. It makes me dizzy!

    ..... Joanna ... did you eat any of the mushroom before making this image :)

    Both are strong images, colors blend so well and it has strong appeal !!! Big Congrats !!!!
