Thats a beauty! The angle of the shot, the exposure, the light, all coming together to make this a mouth-watering image!

Great light, angle and details. I wish for a bit more eye contact and more room at the top.

Superb composition, especially the dark bill nearly parallel to the two dark legs. Great low-angle, and I love the subtle pinks. Agree with Axel that a little more canvas at top would help. Thanks for posting!

Stunning image and the angle is gorgeous. Love the silky look of the water and how the beak just touches the water. Beautifully composed and captured.

A bit more canvas at top would be nice, but not a must - I like the comp as is. I also don't mind the lack of eye contact...the bird is afterall quite concentrated on potential prey. I do think fill flash would have nicely illuminated that shadowed eye though.

The soft light combined with the reflection make for compeling image. I am OK with the crop but agree with Daniel that fill flash would have helped. Not only would it open up the shadow under the eye, but it would also create a catchlight that would enhance the eye contact. The low angle on this image is what makes this image attractive. Good job.

Very nice, Marko, I especially like the soft light and the sweet partial reflection.
    Keep them coming :)

Terrific angle Marko and what a very nice light. I was not sure about the partial reflection but now I think it works because the fading of the reflection at the bottom of the image. I like that effect because the opposite (a sharp reflection croped) would be not as pleasant. Very good job

I like the soft light and the partial reflection. Am I correct in assuming that this is a Little Egret?
