    The name comes from the fact that it's call resembles the call/howl of a jackal. They dont sit around for very long if they decide to land, sometimes they simply swoop through and grab what they want. This one sat for 4 seconds, I did manage to take 16 shots.

    This is one of the most beautiful of the Buteo species.

    And you got an amazing shot of it. I like the angle of the bird and the composition. perfect sharpness.

    Very good job with the 2XTC and very nice exposure. The pose of the bird is fantastic and the light very good. Love the eye contact and the soft BG.

    To all the kind photographers, Daniel I unfortunately could not move the OOF rock in the 4 seconds, thank you for looking, I appreciate all the comments. I just just keep on trying
