    My last shot of the morning as the light was starting to get too harsh.

    I like the alert pose, eye contact and BG. I would put the bird further to the right in the frame, add some space at the bottom and crop some off the top. You could try to tone down the highlights on the perch.

    Very nice pose of a bird I haven't seen posted here on BPN very often. The BG is nice also. Agree with Axel's framing suggestions.

    amazing bg, and wonderful shot.some off the right and the top would work well., but I am guessing this is a full frame image, and one to be proud of.

    Yes to a big crop from the right and the top. The llight from the right is causing the EXP problems: the lichens on the perch are over-exposed but the shaded side of the bird is on the dark side. ..
