    Well I did and I started getting loopy around 3AM.
    Here is the result.

    Nikon D700 Tamron 70-200 F2.8 @ 145mm
    8 seconds @ F22
    Huge Gitzo tripod and Mongoose 3.5a
    Telephone booth.

    This is what I call a stutter step zoom blur.
    Unlike a normal zoom blur, where we smoothly zoom through the focal length range while the shutter is open.
    A stutter step zoom blur is zoomed while the shutter is open, in small incremental steps with a brief delay before the next increment.

    It kept me busy!

    WOW...is this what it looks like when you have one too many???:eek::p;):D:) Very creatve, it looks like you are going into another time zone...:cool: Have to try this myself...:D

    Wow James this is definitely a very creative image and I love what you were able to accomplish !!!! It almost gives the feeling of an infinite DOF.
