This spring after shooting in swamp would move to the ridges looking for Prairie Warblers, Chats,Buntings and Grosbeaks. Prairies were very numerous with small territories. If you called with song then overlapping territories presented a problem since the responding singer would be chased quickly by his neighbor if not in center of territory. It proved to be fun.

Great pose in this image and nice eye contact but it appears slightly flat on my monitor. Curves would make this pop a touch more as well as show a little more feather detail. The image looks sharp and I like the composition. Many thanks for sharing.
Very nice pose and great head angle. I think this nice image would be even better with a Shadow/highlight adjustment and one more round of USM. Love those warblers!
