    Default Early morning light

Curious what people think of the color and/or saturation. I took this image Sunday just as the sun was coming up. A half hour later, I was shooting at iso 200, but this shot was at 1600.

Great light and details. It is a bit tight in the frame for my taste. Could you post more techs, such as aperture, shutter speed and EC?

Very lovely. As Axel mentioned, wider would be nicer. You might want to see how it looks with the red SAT reduced. Where was the bird photographed? It is a lovely, fresh juvenile.

SS 1/400th. aperture 5.6 +1/3 stop ec - I had to add another 1/3 stop in NX.

I reduced red saturation in PS to -15 and then added +3 to contrast.

I did have some shots with more environment but I liked the profile in this one - others were more 3/4.

Very pretty lighting and beautiful detail but I agree a little more room would strengthen this image.. I don't know if it is my monitor or what but I do not see too much change in the repost.

O.K. More room. I have a habit of making my photos 11 b15 so when I print them, they fit into a 16 x20 frame with a 2.5 inch border all around. I went back to the nef file and did no cropping.
    Thanks for the help.

The last post is a much better composition. I just love the scalloped look of this lovely juvies feathers. Nice pose and head angle. I like the soft warm light and desaturating the reds worked well.

The repost is stunning and much more artistically pleasing. And the swirly stuff in the lrc helps balance the COMP.

I think the repost is much, much better. The colour of the bird is fantastic, really sweet light. The work on the reds saturation produced a better and more natural result.
