I took this image of a Whimbrel on Iceland in July.

Made it with my Mark III , Canon 500 f 4 with 1.7 TC
    1 / 640 sec / f 5.6 / ISO 1000
    + 1/3 Exposure Correction

    What do you think?

Rosl I like the overall pose, especially with the raised foot. This looks a little light on my work monitor but it's not calibrated of course. Did you creat any other images with a head turn?

Beautiful photograph, Rosl. The bird is sharp and so well done and the BG is absolutely fluid.

    Rosl,
Very well done. I like the pose. You have good details in the feathers, with soft rich colors...I like this feel...

I really like the subtle and complimentary colors. The slight motion in the raised foot certainly adds to the image. Perhaps a slight turn of the head for some eye contact would be nice but given the action, I don't think that would be possible. Well done.
