Default Yellow-rumped Warbler in Flight @1300mm

In the February of 2007, I took Artie and Robert O'toole out in my boat to photograph Snail Kites. There are lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers here at that time of year, so I tried playing a recording of their call from the built in sound system in the boat. Soon we had several of them flitting around us and landing on the nearby vegetation.

Amazing pose and wing position. And sharp. 1300mm? You are a sick man. Image quality looks a bit suspect. Would love to see a j-peg of the converted ORIG without cropping. When are you outta here?

    Hi Artie,

I leave for Australia on Wednesday morning and return on October 27th. Remind me about the uncropped version when I get back. I have a million things to do before I go. This image is about 45% of the original. If I get internet access and time while I'm in Australia, I'll try to post some images of Australian birds, other wildlife, and scenery. See you in a couple of months.

Thanks Jim. No need with the crop info. Still amazing! Have a great trip. Geoff just ordered a Lens Coat for the Canon 800mm. Too bad it was not done a bit earlier--you could have brought it with...
