    Default Motif: Composite Image Impressionism

this is the final cut of an image i posted a few weeks ago. if you remember i posted a composite of three images, one of which was a zoomblur that was met with mixed reviews. on this one, the zoomblur was replaced by an image of glass covered in rain water, focused on the glass with blue plumbago in the bg. did the image overlay in the camera.

all processing done in capture nx. did not do a lot. dimmed it just a touch and added a little contrast. covered it with just a bit of gaussian blur. i dont have any filters. i try to envision what i'm after and do it in the camera. you probably heard of the TV program Design on a Dime? well i'm photography on a penny!!!:D

    D300, 18-200VR at 48mm, f.5, 1/125s, -0.7EV, ISO 200, handheld in the truck in a pouring rain.

thanks for looking and comments and critiques are appreciated!!

Awesom MR H - can just see it as a large canvas print hanging in the house.
Looks like a Monet to me.

Hey Harold, I have no clue as to what you did to create this (even AFTER reading your explanation) but I do know that I love it. Yes, very Monet. Perhaps with SAT and brightness toned down just a tad it might be even better...

I liked this when you first posted it and wished that it looked more impressionistic and here it is! Love it.
