    Default Wild mustang foal in wildflowers

    I'm fortunate to live in some great wild mustang country. This foal was nice enough to take a break in a thick patch of flowers. No those are not dirt specs on the sensor just insects working the flowers.

    Canon 1d3, EF500mmF4IS, Gitzo & Foba, ISO 320, 1/1000 @F8

    This is a very artistic, sweet and inspiring image.

    My only nit is his nose is touching the flower, but if I see it in a positive way, he is smelling it :)

    Lovely setting Robert....what a sweet photograph this is. I really like it, but do have one little nit ;). I think this would be even better if you would have shown more OOF flowers in the forground and the mustang a bit higher in frame. Just a thought...

    Great image!! I can see a greeting card or poster here with something like "Sometimes you just gotta stop and smell the flowers.".

    I think the framing is very nice and your angle was perfect.
