    Aside from the bird flying slightly away from your position, this is well done. A SH/H ADJ would open up the underwing shadows on the far wing.

    That is a nice piece of "lumber" the bird is carrying! Nice capture of a takeoff with those tucked feet. Nicely captured.
    Artie's advice to do a S/H adjustment will make it even better.

    This is a very nice action image. I would like to see more detail in both wings but you did very well with the exposure.

    GBHs in general frustrate me to no end since they are, IMO, hard to make look good. This one is interesting though thanks to the stick he's carrying. I also like the included branches on the right. They add more interest than pure blue sky BG.

    I'm definitely getting to Lox next weekend. GC was extremely quiet today. Your Lox hawk and heron shots are sweet.
