I believe this is a juvi Least Tern photographed this mornig at Blind Pass. I drove thru Ding Darling and the place was dead, so I followed Bob Blanchard to Blind Pass.
    Thank you Bob.

Angle and light are stunnig! The colors and moment are great to, I just think the focus in on the body as I see the head a bit over sharpened, still, great shot Congratulatons!

Great shot like the angle, nice pose, good DOF and a little fill flash would have helped.

Hey Adams - Glad to help. Always nice to have an option when Ding is dead. Blind Pass did not disappoint. I like the comp on this one. Can't help you much on the id, but it does look like a juvi least tern to me as well.

I think getting up light a bit more would have helped on this one. Nice thing about Blind Pass is that you can set up in a nice up light position to the water, and just wait for the multitude of shorebirds to pass right in front of you. They were definitely actiive on saturday!
