    Note: This is image #5 of The Liquid Motion Collection.

    Techs: This composition is an image overlay of two frames captured in RAW and then converted to JEPG. format; shot at four frames per second using a polarizing filter.

    The image was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D macro lens with a 12mm extension tube.

    Image solution: focal length @ 60mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / metering mode @ in camera matrix metering / 1/125sec. - f/16 / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - mode @ auto - high speed continuous / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - used R1C1 wireless close-up speedlight system / exposure comp @ +1.7EV / tone comp @ +2 degrees / hue adjustment @ +3 degrees / saturation factor @ +4 degrees / support platform - tripod assist /

    WOW!! Gus, this is my favorite of the series. I like the simplicity of the two colors and the design---a crown for a king.

    I really like the colors and composition but think you might still be oversharpening things a bit. Those water drops look like they could cut ice!

    Love it Gus The key for this one seems to be the focus on the rebounding drops !!! This is really wild !!!!

    Not sure if its possible to have texture on the wall coming up? Sure is interesting and must have been fun pulling off !!!

    Hi Julie,
    I'm glad you like it. The water drops are supposed to slice through ice...:D Thats the look that I was after. They also display in that fashion because of the macro ring flash; even though both slave units were powered down to 1/3 lumen burst with attached diffusers...:D:cool:
