Kathy, what a beautiful composite! I agree that the composition would be stronger with the top of the neck included on the second bird but it's still lovely. I went in and evened out your BG a bit - you had a few spots that were dark and one that was a little hot - and this (I feel) puts the emphasis on the color and lines of the image and not the BG. I also increased the whites just a bit for a nicer contrast.

    Hi Kathy,
I like your image. Two things that needed to be in place to put this one over the top...:D The first is the cut off section of the neck; and the second is the head angle on the flamingo to the left; his eye needs to be looking at you. Julie, congrats on the repost...you made the image pop...

I agree with the others about the top of the neck being included, but like the eye of the back bird looking at it's mate. Cool image Julie!!!

Kathy, you have drama, color and seductive lines and it all works really, really well. Congrats and I endorse the repost and suggestions from Jules.

Hi Kathy: I could qualify as a starving artist and surgeon as this is not near the quality of work you do, however, with a good imagination maybe you could see some merit of having a full neck as some suggested??? Can delete it in a heart beat if it offends you . . . Uncle Gus

Gus's repost really brings out the heart shape between the two birds...you might just have a Valentine card here!

Great points !!!! Love the suggestion

The version with the added canvas looks very good and an alternative would be going tighter !!!!! Excellent
