This is spectacular! The BG colors compliment the bird. Love the composition and it is so sharp.

Lovely light and techincals all spot on. The eye really captures the intensity of the raptor and the aspect ratio conveys the motion well.

Hmmmmmm, eye level with a raptor cruising by..... COOL!! Always cool! Very nice. I will say that it looks like he's recently ate as his Crop is full. Not sure if many people know this or not, but the crop (throat area) is the first stomach were major digestion takes place... it basically holds all the bones and items it will eventually disgard.

Great shot, Chris! I'm very surprised you are using AV mode instead of manual.

Love the BKGR and the sharpness but I will be the odd man out here. This is not my favorite wing position (wings full up would have been much more dramatic) and in addition, the bird's head is turned a bit away...

Love the light and the BG, the detail and sharpness, I agree with Arthur that wings full up would've been better, but this wing position gives the flight a very nice feeling of speed. Congratulations!

Thanks for the comments guys - yes the wing position is debatable, but I like "sense of purpose" that the bird has.

WOW, I love it Chris. Very effective aspect ratio for this wing position (which I also like to see at times). Very well done as usual.
