    Default Gator close-up

Captured about a week ago on a nice overcast day at Ding Darling NWR. This is a fairly small (about 4-5 foot) gator.

Canon 40D, 70-200 f/2.8 @ 120mm, f/4, 1/40, ISO 400, +2/1 EV, hand held laying at water's edge from about 6 feet. This is a full frame image with slight crop for alignment.

I like the composition and the white BG. the reflection is great as are the yellow and orange colors.

I have to agree with Markus - like it for the same reasons.

The high key bg, the orange and yellow in the body line, and the very nice reflection combined with the sharp eye make this one nice image.

I, too, Like the great reflection. The high key effect works well here.
