    Hi Arsdel....typical pose for these guys. I have often sat in a field and just watched(and photographed) the dickcissel for hours
    as they return to a perch over and over.

    IMO, you have a very natural not oversaturated color, but appears quite oversharpened in areas and overly smooth in others.
    Looks like noise reduction and then sharpening added, if so might try less noise reduction on the bird

    Like the pose Ardsel! And the bird is a real beauty. It looks quite oversharpened. And the catchlight looks a little funny on my monitor. Thanks for posting!

    Lovely bird, posture, and BKGR but, as above, way-oversharpened.

    yes, noise reduction and over sharpened, but a really nice shot.
