The Pine Warbler sings all year ,but revs it up in Spring. I love to shoot small birds and this is another swamp warbler and this one moves between adjacent ridges of pine trees and swamp.

Hi Charles! Great singing pose and eye contact. The bird appears oversharpened on my monitor, and I'd like to see it moved a little to the right in the frame (I'd add some canvas on the left too). Please try to include full tech specs on your photos. Thanks for posting!

Hye Chas, Lovely singing pose and BKGR. The bird is oversharpened. Though I have not seen many of this species, I gotta say that individual is pretty ratty looking. Lastly, the perch, which is blocking the tail, and the virtual tail is too close to the frame-edge (thus pointing the camera down a bit would have helped).

Yep I thought oversharpened but wanted to see if others would comment--the tail I thought might be overlooked because hidden by stub, but I was wrong. Should have more chances at it next spring. I am surprised it is not a more common species for you Art in Florida. Should be all over the place there.

The Pine has baffled ID for many bird watchers over the years because markings can vary a lot.

    Chas.
