Hi Oscar, I love the warm light and the BG is beautiful with the colors and that lovely ray effect is echoed by the white feather tips. The very shallow DOF is interesting and I'm wondering about brightening and sharpening the eye. It's tight in the frame but I quite like it!!

    Hi Oscar,
This really is so pretty and I love that it is tight in the frame! My only nit is that the point of focus seems to be on the breast and not the face. I don't know if selectively sharpening the face and neck would help in PP, but I think that you needed a little more DOF, or to have the focus point on the eye. Having said all this I am really enjoying your image for the beauty of the pose and the BG.
    Regards,
    Nicki

Agree with suggestions Would also try toning down the base of the bill and area just behind !!! Dramatic pose and lighting !!!

Hi Oscar - love the light and the pose.

Are the OOF area's because of limited DOF??? looks more to me like bird was turning its head and the shutter speed wasn't fast enough to freeze the action. Looks like motion blur to me rather than DOF.

    Way to go Oscar

love the light and the BG compliments the bird very nicely. Agree with previously mentioned focus. I like the tight crop here.
