Like the composition and placement of the frog. Background is great and compliments the green frog.
    Congrats,

Jeni, what a cutie! I like the wet-look and the way the light shines through the toes of her toes. Might need just a bit of sharpening. Good Job on such a small target.

    Hi Jeni,
I really love this - agree with Katie on a touch more sharpening, then you will have a winner!

Very appealing composition and setting Jeni The dark bg works very well in this image Would go for some additional sharpening and would clone out the small highlights !!! Excellent

Thank you for comments - I'm battling with a halo if I sharpen....any suggestions? Have cloned out the bright spots Al - worked well!;)
Also got a positive ID for the tiny fella - Hyperolius pusilus (no, I'm not swearing!) common name..Waterlily Reed frog.:D

Hi Jeni - nice froggy. Well done

Agree with the sharpening -you need to just select the frog, lots of different ways you can do it. I would try the quick slect tool in PS. Click on it and drag it over the area you are wanting to select and see how you go.

Once you have the area selected, you can make adjustments to the area using quick masks (press Q - The area you have selected will turn red - then you can use your brushh and eithr white or black - to add or subtact to the selection).
Once you have the selection done - you could go to REFINE EDGE and play around with the EXPAND/CONTRACT and then try sharpening.

There is a article in the eductaional resources aboout sharpening when you have sky backgrounds - you can adapt that to what you need to do here.

    :)

    One very fine composition Jeni,
I like the placement of the frog in frame. Your exposure is good, and you have a pleasant color reddition in the greens. The black background works very well here. good show...looking foward to your next one...
