Illustrated Butterfly

For some odd reason, this image recorded almost these exact colors - none of the rest of the images around it really look anything like it. I figured it was a freak of light inside the conservatory windows but it was so pretty and pastel that I decided to play it up. I applied an "Ethereal Glow" action first, lightened the image with a curves adjustment and then went back to one of my all-time favorite actions - "Illustrated."

Now all I can say is I sure wish that butterfly had been looking my way. :o

I like it Julie, It feels good. Love the texture. Your butterfly is well placed in frame...You have a very nice combination of colors...good show...:cool:

This is pretty, Julie, Iike the "illustrated" effect. I think I would do something with that really bright spot in the lower left corner, though....The butterfly's wings are lovely!
