    Golden-mantled ground squirrel, Glacier National Park. Looking for ideas about the crop. Is this too centered? Unfortunately don't have much more room on left.

    Oh, this is so cute! I would prefer a little more room on the left as you wrote. But this is a wonderful shot as it is.
    The light is harsh but you made the best out of the available light.
    Great sharpness.

    Really, really cute. I can't get the little critters to stay still for any kind of image no less one with this impact. To my eye it screams vertical crop with a bit of room on the left.

    Look at that cutie....

    The only thing that worrys me is the composition. I would prefer the squirrel a bit more to the left or more room to the right... It is now to center for me I think....

    I still love the picture thoe. How can you not when a little squirrel look like that :D

    My suggestion on the recrop. Since you got the tail, more room behind is called for.

    The light brings out the hair detail quite well. It does not feel harsh to me.

    Nice work.
