Some of the skimmers had this kind of quarrel every once in a while. It looked like a territorial issue and was not real serious. Cropped from horizontal.

Fantastic Axel !!! Twin sharp birds, sharp and doing a behavior are so difficult Got a winner !!!!
fantastic action shot. I like the open bills and the wing pose of the bird on the right.

I have to keep the fantastic going here Axel Awesome interaction and timing and sharp as well Fine work indeed!!!! Congrats !
Now, Axel, catch lights and all!!! Sorry, but awesome just says what I thought as I looked at the image!! Ok, BG, exposure and action, it has it all!!
excellent action & especially liked the open beak aggression display between the individuals.
another good thing is that heads of both the individual are visible. normally under such fast action, the heads get covered by the wings & so on.
This is amazing catch !!
Great action catch! The wing positions are very nice.
Nice timing Axel! Great interaction.
Beautiful capture Axel! I love the interaction here.
:eek::eek::eek:
Great action captured here. Not sure on the square crop however... Well odne....
What I want to know is... How much did you pay these great performers to pose for you like this? :) Great catch. I like the hint of soft cloud in the background too.

That's a great behavioral shot Axel. I like how sharp the image is and the wing action in both the birds. Exposure is perfect. Seeing the catchlight puts the cherry on the top :)
Axel...
The only thing I wish for is a lower angle...
I"M KIDDING!
Excellent stuff....
I've seen this behavior many times. Excellent capture Axel.
