    Note: Image #2 of The Liquid Motion Collection.

    Techs: This composition is an image overlay of two frames captured in RAW and then converted to JEPG. format; shot at four frames per second using a polarizing filter.

    The image was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D macro lens with a 12mm extension tube.

    Image solution: focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / 1/125sec. - f/16 / ISO @ 320 /
    white balance @ cloudy / AF - mode @ auto - high speed continuous / metering mode @ in camera matrix metering / lighting solution - no speedlight; used ambient light in combination with a 36" soft box placrd from the top at a 90 degree angle; and two 22" silver disk reflectors angled from both sides. / exposure comp @ -0.7EV / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - tripod assist /

    Hey Gus,

    I like #2 even more than #1.The comp is sweet - the "drop dynamics" are very nifty!! Colors and terxtures are nice too!!

    One amazing image Gus !!! They keep getting better !!! That suspended drop is placed just perfectly !!! Big Time Congrats !!!

    Hey Gus! Beautiful image but I thought I detected a little noise in the BG. I ran it through noise reduction and added a quick sweep of the blur tool to the BG and FG.

    Hi Gus,

    Wow, first image #1 and now this. I love the feel of the image. The colors and motion frozen in time are great. You need to stop though. My wife is getting tired of me dragging her over to the screen to look at your images :D. I look forward to many more.
