    Default Been a while

    Hey Family,
It's been a while since I posted any pictures. I went to watch the races this last weekend and walked away with a lot of killer shots. Here's one of my favorites from this shoot. This guy won this race. He was a very animated rider. When he won he rode by showin' some love. It was cool. I look forward to your comments and critics.

Love it Sharna Can't figure out what series? Is that CCS?

The only way to come up with a better one is a photo pass and getting on the inside of the turn :D:D

Looks like the rider was laying down on the job!

I like your shutter speed selection and the slightly blurred background. It looks like you have the hang of panning.
Next time try a slower shutter speed. I'll bet the resulting images are even more dramatic.

    James,
I have quite a few that have slow shutter speeds but it's hard to get the bike and rider in sharp focus at such shutter speeds. I will post one in a day or two to show. Thanks everyone for your comments. They are much appreciated. Sorry it took so long to respond. Been out shooting and kind of had a hectic schedule last week.

    Sharna,

Good effort there. I have found that it is very important to follow through a panning shot and learn to squeeze the trigger rather than punching it while executing the shot throughout.

An example below during the winter tests last year of Andrea Dovizioso when moving up to MotoGP Class at Sepang in Malaysia.
