    Default Peaceful morning GBH

I was at least 2 1/2 hours out in the field before I saw anybody else, quite unusual but I like it as the wildlife goes about as if no-one was there. I was somewhat hidden from this Great Blue Heron's view and I'm not sure that it noticed me there as it never once got nervous or looked my way.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @285mm, aperture priority, 1/1000s., f7.1, ISO 500, -0.3 EC, natural light, handheld.

Dan nice light and details in this image and this looks like a juvenile as well. I'm glad that you had a peaceful morning.

    Dan....

Definetly nice light and the only detraction here is that the kight on the background grasses makes the subject isolation appear less than it is at 7.1. Perhaps with a QM they could be blurred just a bit?

Great light and details. I might crop a bit off the bottom.
