I like this one and have no problem with all the seemingly empty space. Cute, lovely little bird there.

I also like this image, Adams. What a great forlorn look to this chick - all the empty space empasizes the mood. You did a nice job with the 600 & 2x TC :D

    Cheers, Bruce

    Hi Adams,

I like this image a lot. I really like the unconventional composition and the head position of the chick. My only nit is that it appears slightly overexposed, not blown, just a little overexposed..

Hi Adams, this image has a heart-tugging emotional feel to it: the small vulnerable chick looking back, the space around him and the faint shoreline detail. I like it very much.

    Hi JIm,
Thank you for the comment above. My question to you is: Are you saying that i should have overexposed the image a little more In order to make this a true high key image?

    Thank you again

    Adams,

No. I meant you should expose for the bird and the bird is slightly overexposed, not blown out, just overexposed. Here is a repost after darkening the bird a bit.

    Hi Adams,

I really like this image and the mode it conveys. The chick's look back and use of negative space really does empasizes the mood. Jim's repost make a very good image better.

    Regards,

    Phil
