    This may very well be the same fellow Chas posted a week or so ago since I was in the same boat on the Chobe River. He just looked great in the late afternoon light.

    Mark III, 100-400 @ 350, 1/800, f/6.3, ISO 400, manual mode.

    A very nice portrait with some great light here... Maybe a bit more room on the top would help..

    Wonderful light and expression. Maybe more room at top, but I like it as is.

    The lovely light almost makes this baboon look beautiful Steve:D.
    Baboons are one species I would absolutely not miss if they were not around in Botswana.....

    Nice looking portrait and light Steve. I agree a bit more room on top would be nice. You can do that by increasing the canvas and using Quick Mask to select areas to the left and right of him and copy/pasting them into the top. A bit of blending and you have it done.
