Motif: High-Key Northern Harrier
What the heck; I'll throw a high-key Harrier photo into the mix. Photographed this past winter in manual exposure (metered using brown grass).
Canon 1D Mark III, 700mm, f/8, 1/1250, ISO 1250, no flash, tripod
Mr. Doug,
This is one killer image. I like it very much; especially the down wing position. The details are razor sharp and the colors are nice and vibrant. I like the killer eyes...good show. keep them coming...
Doug - fantastic love everything about this image.
:)
Hey, I have something like that, too...only that it's OOF :o
Thanks for showing how it should be done, Doug !
Real nice Doug Particularly like the feather density reproduction !!! Big Congrats and one fine example !!!
Stunning!! Well done Doug!
So that's what brown grass is good for! (I've got me plenty of that!!!)
Beautiful image, Doug. I love the angle of him coming at the viewer and the downward wings are fabulous.
I LOVE IT! great color, detail and pose. Wow, Doug, thanks for sharing.
