Ive been away from BPN for quite some time. I hope I will be back for a while now I have much to learn here. It seems like I have been perfecting a style that makes use of the Fo2pix buzz filter and a number of other adjustments and sometimes in conjunction with some other tools.. its literally an art to develop the look and feel you want. I really like the affect I achieved with this shot. thanks for stopping by for a look.. hope everything is great with you.

    Hi Kenn.
I like this effect very much. The composition is good. The feathered cloud pattern takes this one to the top. It looks like a water color painting...congrats...

    Hi Kenn,
This is beautiful - agree with Gus that it loks like a watercolour painting! Well done.

Since I'm just new here, I didn't see the original, but it must have been terrific as a base to work from, because this is outstanding!

    Ummm- what's Fo2pix? (Probably a Windows app...I'm on a Mac..):o

thanks you guys... your praise is so uplifting..... and yes... it is true that digital manipulation is not a refuge for poor photography.... (lol.. though how Ive tried!).... I was very happy with the original shot.. but there are some few shots like this one that have that extra emotion to them... these kinds of shots can be enhanced with the right choice of manipulation.. it truly is an art... Ive found no rule of thumb to guide me here... but after a while you start making better choices on how to handle certain things..... but it is the reactions/reviews that I get that tell me if Im getting warmer or colder.... so without that guide I just kind of wander (wonder?) off in some obtuse direction....
    so thanks again...
