    Nice pose and exposure. It looks like it could use some cw rotation and I might tone down the highlights on the bill.

    Bob nice over the shoulder look here and low angle, especially with the 500 F4 hanging from a canoe. I agree with Trey's suggestions but I'd be pleased with this one.

    What a big head this bird has! An unconventional body pose, but I like the over the shoulder look. It does need some serious CW rotation though.

    Like the repost Bob and a beautiful pose in this image. Everytime I see a picture of a loon I suffer a little envy as they are such gorgeous birds. Sure do hope to have the opportunity of seeing them one day. Lovely capture Bob and a great low angle. It must be a challenge to capture this image from a canoe no less. Big congrats !!!

    Nicely done from your capture angle. I like it very much. You have sharp details and very pleasing colors...congrats...:cool:
