    Default African White-backed Vulture.

African White-backed Vulture, dropping in on a Impala carcass, killed and left by a Leopard the previous night.
They sure are more impressive airborne than land based!

Great incoming pose, underwing details and eye contact. It is a bit tight in the frame for my taste and you could try to tone down the highlights more. There is a S/H and a sharpening halo visible.

    Hi Axel
Thanks for the comments. How are you viewing this image? Because I can't see any halo visible?
I made every effort for this to not occur.

    Cheers

Very nice blue sky. I would like to see more room on top and right!

I see the halos, and they are easily overcome in ps, I like the crop a lot, and the detail on the bird is fantastic., wonderful image.
