Default Tricolor Heron in nice light

Here's another from that really nice light at Ding Darling this past weekend. Adams Sera and I had a couple opportunities at this wonderful fellow. Adams was a lot closer than I was, but I still got a few decent images. This is probably the nicest Tricolor image I've taken. I love how he puffed up that neck for us!

Canon 1DsMII, 600mm f/4, f/4, 1/400, ISO 200, +2/3 EV, Off either Tripod at ground level, or BLUBB (can't remember on this image which I used, as I had them both set up).

Really nice light indeed. The softness of the light brings out the colors well and the pose is classic. I'm wishing for a little more sharpening but it's always hard to tell on these small size images. If it were mine, it'd go on the wall.

Love the light in this one Bob! Great eye contact and pose too. Sharpness looks good on my monitor. Thanks for posting!
