    Shot this spring in Phelps, WI with Canon 40D, 300mm 2.8 + 2x, 1/320, f5.6, 640 ISO on tripod. This is only the second bird I have seen with leucism (causing the white pigment). Thanks Axel for letting me repost.

    I like the soft light, eye contact and BG. The head looks a bit soft, the perspective shows the leucism really well. I might raise the color temperature a few degrees and if possible please post a version that is 800 pixels long.

    Agree on the size limit and other assessments by Axel. It's a very good looking subject and the head turn a plus!

    Axel, thanks for the advice. I raised the color temp a little and it is much more dramatic and the bird really pops out.
