    hand held, natural light, slight crop

    taken way back more then 2 years ago, in prime RWBB season at a local pond., I was lucky to catch the lift off with enough shutter speed to leave me a decent image... some sharpening applied!

    Perfect timing Raymond and and excellent action and detail.. Reallly like the BG but if it were mine I would be tempted remove the two OOF reeds at the bottom. Beautiful lighting and eye contact too. Like it a lot !!!

    Great take off pose and eye contact. I agree with Judy regarding the OOF reeds.

    Hi Ray,
    Nice image. I spent a lot of time this past spring at the local lake trying to get an image like this. Great timing and pose. Love the cattail and the ice/cattail BG (I'm assuming its ice). I agree with removing the two tips from the bottom (those things get into every shot!)
