I was out at Viera yesterday. Not too much happening, and VERY hot:eek::eek:!! But, this tricolored heron gave us a bit to practice on and the water was nice and still. Taken with the D300, nikon 500 f4, f7.1, iso 640, -1.00, 1/3200. I would have been lower but the grass by the water was a bit tall, plus I wanted to decrease the BG grass some. Beautiful capture and wonderful reflections in beautiful lighing/ Love the pose in this one Nancy and the sharp detail and color. The BG is a tad busy but I love it and works well for me. Your repost is much better. It was great meeting you at Viera and I hope to see you again innthe near future Nancy.
