Upside-down...psssst Fabs!!

Hi Folks,
I saw that Fabs and Joanna had posted beautiful reflections and I thought of this one. Taken at Ding Darling in March, rotated and cropped in half. I added some canvas on the left (to disguise the fact that I had mistimed the shot and the bird was about to leave the frame...:eek:...I then tweaked in levels until I got this effect...
400D 100-400 @ 400mm
ISO 200
AV F8 1/250 sec
I like the effect created but does he need more of a head...:)

Nicki, I think this is one of my new favorites of yours! I think this is totally wonderful just as presented. There is enough of the bird in focus to fill in the mind's imagination but the whole thing is totally liquid and (as Fabs stated) surreal! I can totally see this hanging in an art gallery and some fan paying LOTS of money for it!!!
